[ Kithood ] Calia always lived with her housefolk, and them only. She doesn't remember much of her kin, but a main memory she has of them is her mother teaching her about herbs. She doesn't think of her biological family much, because her housefolk are her family, as they had already been there for her - specifically the she-kit of the two older twolegs. The she-kit was the one to name her, the she-kit was the one to wrap the blue ribbon around her neck to replace the itchy, baby-blue collar, the she-kit was the one she considered her best friend.
[ Adolescence ] They played together, they cuddled together, they did everything together.
[ Adulthood ] Until one day, the family of twolegs didn't return home. The following day, the older twolegs were home, but they completely neglected Calia. She wondered where the she-kit was. The she-kit never returned, and the older twolegs continued to ignore her. She learned that her best friend would never come back, and she'd never feel as happy as she used to. So, she left. She decided to take her chances in the wild. She eventually taught herself to hunt - with great difficulty, although she often scavenged until she was somewhat good at hunting. She stumbled upon a beautiful garden, which she decided would be her home. Several cats would usually stay with her for a night or two before traveling onward, leaving her to wait for the next cat. One day, she went hunting, and when she returned with a mouse in her jaws, she found a group of cats, wounds painting their pelts. Calia was quick to use her knowledge of herbs, and patch them up. She learned they were an exiled patrol of ShadowClan warriors, chased from their home by evil cats intending to take over. Calia sheltered with them until they were well enough to return home. She considered them to be friends, but she did her best to avoid them as she knew they would eventually leave and seeing them go would surely make them depressed. So when they left, she was left depressed. She left that home, unable to stay there any longer. Days later, she stumbled upon a gorgeous twoleg nest with a beautiful yard. She learned that twolegs were rarely there, and she made it her home. Moons later, a dark-pelted tomcat was found on her territory. She approached him, friendly as always, but he was harsh with her, clearly cautious. She offered him food, and a place to stay, told him of her past - all in an attempt to ease his anxiety. However, Obsidian remained reserved. He spent two days at her garden where they sparred, hunted, and talked. When he left, she experienced depression once again.
[ Ongoing Story ] Calia is surviving in her garden, waiting for the next passing feline to stay with her.
