[ Kithood ] Flarekit was stolen from ThunderClan before he could even see. He spent about three moons of his kithood outside of his Clan believing he was born an outsider. He was soon rescued and returned to ThunderClan where he was reunited with his family. However, he did not believe his biological family was related to him, and instead believed they had stolen him from his true home as an outsider. He met a blind she-cat named Spiritkit at a young age, and they quickly formed a powerful bond. At first, she was more of the reserved type, and he was the bold one, but as they continued to spend time together, they both experienced different sides of one another.
[ Adolescence ] Flarepaw was a difficult apprentice, often causing trouble for his mentor and clanmates. He became flirtatious, attempting to charm every female he met. He began to feel the urge to flirt with tomcats, but he fought that urge. He feared being attracted to males, afraid of being judged for his orientation. So he never openly flirted with toms. Spiritpaw remained at his side, and despite all the trouble he brought to his apprenticeship, he always tried to help his blind best friend in training. Of course, she could be rather defensive of her blindness, claiming she could do it on her own, but training was new to both of them, and surely it would be more challenging for a sightless she-cat? They trained together multiple times, and Flarepaw finally adjusted to her blindness. He continued to resent his biological family, but refused to leave ThunderClan because he had built such a strong bond with Spiritsight.
[ Adulthood ] Flareheart shared a joint job with Spiritsight in training Badgerpaw. He learned he wouldn't make a good mentor. And he met Hawkfeather, who challenged his lighthearted ways with even more lightheartedness.
[ Ongoing Story ] Flareheart is developing a friendship - and maybe something more - with Hawkfeather. He continues to resent his biological family - especially his sister, Emberwing, for lying to him by trying to convince him he's related to them.
